In 1984 with 20 years experience, Joe Thisted Sr. started his agency and Meltric was his first line.  Over the years he added lines and in 2000 Joe Thisted Jr. joined the company.  In 2014 Teri Soignoli was hired as an inside salesperson and in 2015 Mike Austin was hired as an outside salesperson in the southwestern part of Virginia and West Virginia.  In 2021 Allan Polson was hired as an outside salesperson for the central and northern Shenandoah Valley.
